Sorry, no 3D or compositing in this one but good work.  It's not a great story but a fantastic little stop-motion short film by Tomas Mankovsky. It was shot from above using a still camera, WYSIWYG.  Soon to be "borrowed" for a TV commercial, I'm sure.

The project's website has a great making of section.

Yep, the concept has already been "borrowed" a couple times for Commercials and Music Videos. 

Oh well, "imitation" is the sincerest form of flattery!  (And cheapest!)
