2  Visual Effects Software / Nuke / Free NFX Nuke Plugins used in the movie 2012 on: January 20, 2010, 06:14:28 PM
All NFXPlugins are created and maintained by Nathan Dunsworth.

NFXPlugins contains nodes ranging from Transformations, Filters, Color operations such a tone mapping, and other misc operations.  NFXPlugins also includes numerous nodes similar to ones found in Apple's Shake compositing package, either because Nuke doesn't contain a standalone version as the one found in Shake or for the simple purpose to help Shake users transition to Nuke.

Nathan has a video demo for cool new plugins.
Note to LostBoys this video is saved in out temp students)

All the plugins are for nuke supports all previous and new releases of Nuke with each new update.  Currently NFXPlugins is proud to support all versions of Nuke ranging from 4.6 to 5.0v2 with the exception of version 4.7v2.)

Nuke: Intermediate CG Pipelines: (4 chapters)

Chap 01- CG Multipass compositing in Nuke:

In this first chapter, we will focus in the use of multipass renders from 3ds Max (VRay) and Maya (Mental Ray) inside Nuke, showing the basic setup inside the 3D application to output a EXR multipass file and how to composite them back, pass by pass until we achieve a correct and accurate match to the RGB render.

This first chapter is divided in 5 sections:

1. Setup EXR output in 3dsMax.

2. Multipass compositing with VRay passes.

3. Multipass compositing with RAW VRay passes (Fixes and tricks to match RGB).

4. Setup EXR output in Maya 2009.

5.Multipass compositing with Mental Ray passes.
