I found this reel online and thought I'd post it as it is a good example of a Roto/Paint Reel.

Roto/Paint is a common entry level gig for most Compositors at larger studios.  Anyone considering breaking into the industry directly into a larger shop as a Compositor might want to consider building a reel (perhaps a secondary reel?) like this.

James Pina Roto/Paint Reel - 2009 from James Pina on Vimeo.

Professional roto and paint artist James Pina's reel displaying latest work. Highlights include work for Showtime's Weeds with Perception NYC, Discovery's Man vs. Wild with UMERIC and Samsung Mobile with SUPERFAD along with several other commercial and personal projects.

Please visit JamesPina.com for more info and availability.

And here's a better description of a Roto/Paint Artists responsibilities taken from Double Negatives Job Listings pages...  http://www.dneg.com/jobs/rotoscope_artist_%28singapore%29_185.html
