Artifex is looking for an on-set VFX coordinator for an upcoming project. On-set experience in the VFX department is necessary. This position requires the ability to professionally represent the VFX supervisor and facility when communicating with directors, producers, and all department heads in prep and production. Experience gathering camera data, shooting HDRI, setting up tracking, etc. is a big plus - however some training can be provided. Additionally experience as a VFX artist in studio is a plus, as well as being up to date with current technologies in production and post workflow - e.g. digital camera tech (Red, Alexa), imaging, colorspace and luts, shot tracking and post I/O. Rate negotiable, based on suitability and experience.
